Engagements can be scoped around a specific challenge, transition, or implementation need.

Support for Student Success Work That’s Stuck Between Planning and Progress.

WHAT I OFFER

Five Areas of Support, Tailored to Your Goals.

Each engagement is customized to your institution, your resources, and your timeline. Whether you need a focused assessment, hands-on implementation support, or interim leadership, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward.

01

Retention & Student Success Strategy

You’re probably doing a lot of things right. I can help you understand what’s working, where the gaps are, and how to build on your successes with a clear, actionable plan.

02

Fractional & Interim Student Success Leadership

Whether you’re navigating a leadership vacancy, a period of transition, or exploring a new role, I can provide director-level student success leadership for the time and budget you have.

SUPPORT MAY INCLUDE:

  • Assessment of current programs and data

  • Identification of priorities and opportunities

  • Action planning

  • Short- or longer-term implementation support

A GOOD FIT WHEN:

  • A student success leader has departed

  • Your team needs temporary leadership capacity

  • You’re navigating a defined transition

  • You want to pilot a position before hiring

03

Advising Program Design & Training

Moving from faculty advising to a shared or professional advising model can affect roles, workflows, relationships, training, technology, and the student experience all at once.

I can help your campus design a new advising model or make significant changes to an existing one, with support that fits your context and capacity.

SUPPORT MAY INCLUDE:

  • Program design and implementation planning

  • Role and workflow development

  • Advisor training and resource creation

  • Change management and ongoing support

04

Grant Management & Compliance Support

05

Technology Rollout & Adoption Support

Winning the grant is one thing. Delivering everything you promised while keeping up with everyone’s existing workload is another.

I can add capacity for grant-funded student success initiatives by helping manage timelines, workflows, deliverables, metrics, reporting requirements, and assessment.

You’ve invested in a student success platform, but people aren’t using it effectively. I can help bridge the gap between implementation and adoption.

Having led two campus-wide CRM rollouts, I know successful adoption takes more than getting the technology up and running.

SUPPORT MAY INCLUDE:

  • Compliance reviews

  • Project management and reporting

  • Metrics and assessment support

  • Coordination with internal and external partners

SUPPORT MAY INCLUDE:

  • Implementation planning

  • Workflow design and process alignment

  • Staff training and communication

  • Ongoing use and evaluation

WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

The Scope Can Match the Problem

Focused Assessment

A defined review of a program, process, or challenge with findings and recommended next steps.

Implementation

Hands-on project support over a longer period to help move an initiative from planning through execution.

Leadership

Embedded leadership for a defined period when your institution needs additional senior-level capacity.

Kate was influential in getting our retention strategies operationalized at Carlow University under the Title III grant we received in 2024. She spearheaded the implementation of EAB's Navigate360 software platform to track and support retention initiatives, and was key in decision-making about how to launch the tool and get faculty buy-in.

Her assessment skills were essential for doing this work effectively and developing key performance indicators for measuring success. She also worked collaboratively across campus to build capacity, develop training, and identify critical data sets for sustaining retention efforts.
